Karen Chung first ventured into singing and writing songs when she received a ukulele as a birthday gift back in 2013. She began her musical adventures in Manchester, England where she performed in various music venues, on local radio stations, on the streets, and on a boat. She currently resides in her native Montreal, Canada where she continues to perform. Using her classical music training and possessed with an unusual singing voice, Karen Chung blends upbeat melodies with tales of woe and heartbreak, creating a quirky, indie folk pop sound.
